How to get better at parrying deepwoken

$So the way parrying works is not what you might be used to. If an NPC or a player lands an m1 on you, it does stun you for a small fraction of a second. But this stun only prevents you from doing a roll; you can still press the F key to parry the second incoming attack, but you have to time it correctly. But say someone lands their first m1 on ... .$

Personally, I believe DW has a much better design mechanically, yet a worse design philosophy. Rogue lineage has a strong foundation, yet fails in certain ways of execution, be-it player combat, looting, PvE and progression. Deepwoken suffers from the opposite, with great PvP, PvE, and leveling, yet a weak underlying foundation. a tip I’ve noticed is playing in Hong Kong and servers farther away actually give me more stable ping lol. I get 90 - 500 ping in Illinois but a stable 200 on Hong Kong servers. Better than nothing. Parrying golems rl gives alot. Snow golems if youre confident in dodging them, it is very good for exp in winter. Im simple and still lets me level up a shit ton.There’s a card for greatswords called Destructive Recovery which allows you to break someone’s posture with the parry of a greatsword. The requirements are to have a greatsword equipped, 25 strength and Harsh Response. u need atleast 40 heavy to use a greatsword so in total u need 25 strength + 40 heavy for a single talent that isnt even ... ….
